Maurice kommt aus dem Bundeskader des Modernen Fünfkampfs. Als die Sportart das Reiten gegen das Klettern tauschte, fiel die Entscheidung: ein neuer Weg, eine neue Herausforderung. 2024 wechselte er in den Triathlon. Maurice comes from the national squad of modern pentathlon. When the sport swapped riding for climbing, he made his call: a new path, a new challenge. In 2024 he moved into triathlon.
Seitdem entwickelt er sich Schritt für Schritt — von der Sprintdistanz über die Olympische Distanz, mit dem klaren Ziel, künftig auf der Mitteldistanz vorne mitzumischen. Trainingsbasis: Halle (Saale), beim SV Halle. Since then he has been developing step by step — from sprint through Olympic distance, with one clear goal: to compete at the front of the middle distance. Training base: Halle (Saale), with SV Halle.
